Lady Indians advance to third round of playoffs

The Lady Indians advanced to the third round of the Class 2A playoffs with a 58-29 victory against Haskell on Feb. 15 at Clyde High School.

Lipan (31-3) got 16 points from both Hanna Gaylor and Ashlyn Clark, with Olivia Benitez adding 9.

The Lady Indians, ranked No. 1 in the state and defending state champions, will face Windthorst (25-7) or Hamilton (23-9) in the next round early next week. Hamilton is No. 23 in the state and Windthorst is unranked.
